Real care. Real connection. Osteopathy that listens.
Since 2014, we’ve been helping people in Williamstown and beyond feel better in their bodies – not just with hands-on treatment, but with care that’s personal, informed, and empowering.

Healthcare that treats you like a human, not just a body
At Ferguson Street Osteopathy, we’re here to do more than treat pain – we’re here to understand you. We believe that quality care starts with listening, because no two people (or bodies) are the same.
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, feeling out of balance, or just want to feel more at home in your body, we’ll take the time to hear your story. That means longer consults, collaborative treatment plans, and education you can actually use – not just jargon or generic advice.
We don’t do quick fixes or conveyor belt care. We work with you, not on you – helping you feel supported, informed, and in control of your own health.
How it all started and where we are now
Ferguson Street Osteopathy began in 2014 when osteopath Julie Hjorth opened the original clinic just down the road. From day one, the goal was simple: to offer thoughtful, person-centred care in a space that felt calm, welcoming, and grounded in the local community.
As word spread and the clinic grew, we moved to our current home at 161 Ferguson St in 2019. These days, the team includes four osteopaths, a friendly receptionist, and four psychologists who work from the space – all sharing the same values of care, connection, and respect.
The clinic itself has become part of who we are – a colourful, cosy spot in the heart of Williamstown where people of all ages come to feel heard, supported, and cared for. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

2019
The clinic relocates to 161 Ferguson St – now a bright, welcoming hub for healing and connection.
Today
Home to 3 osteopaths, 4 psychologists, and a growing community of locals who trust us with their care.
We’re here to help you feel safe, supported and seen
At Ferguson Street Osteopathy, our values shape everything we do — from how we greet you at the door to the way we tailor each treatment.

Who
We show up as real people — empathetic, open, and here to help. We want you to feel comfortable, respected, and heard from the very first appointment.

What
We explain things clearly and answer your questions without complex language. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of your body — and how to support it.

Where
Our clinic is warm, colourful, and calm — not cold or clinical. It’s designed to be a safe, affirming space where you can relax, decompress, and feel at ease.

How
We take the time to look at the big picture. That means longer consults, individualised plans, and treatment that supports your whole self — body, mind, and lifestyle.

Why
We care deeply about the people we serve and the community we’re part of. This isn’t just a job — it’s a purpose we’re proud to live out every day.
Osteopathy looks at more than just your pain
Osteopathy is a form of allied healthcare that uses manual therapy, movement, and education to support your body’s natural ability to heal and function well. It’s hands-on, evidence-informed, and tailored to your unique needs.
Rather than just focusing on a sore spot, osteopaths look at how the whole body works together — including joints, muscles, nerves and posture. We aim to get to the root of the issue, not just treat the symptoms.
Osteopathy can help with a wide range of conditions, from back and neck pain to headaches, pregnancy-related discomfort, sports injuries and more. Every treatment includes education and advice, so you leave feeling informed and empowered — not confused or rushed.
