Star Weekly – Babies Sought for Trial

by | Mar 2, 2021

To this day there is limited understanding of colic and of the treatments that can help soothe an otherwise healthy yet distressed baby. In the hopes of furthering the knowledge in this field, Ferguson St Osteo is playing a small role in a greater study, that runs across three countries, looking at outcomes of osteopathic treatment on infants with colic.

Check out this week’s Star Weekly article about the trial and get in touch with us if you have any questions or have an infant that fits the eligibility criteria (>3 hours crying, >3 days/week, 1-10weeks old).

**Note that osteopathic treatment of infants is gentle and involves no manipulation. This study has multiple-university ethics approval and only practitioners with extensive training and experience are involved.
